MALA’s First-Line Supervisor Training Series fosters leadership development, preparing supervisors to confidently support, coach, and lead direct care teams. Designed for aspiring, new, and current supervisors, the training recognizes the unique challenges of transitioning from providing care to leading others and equips participants with the skills needed to strengthen communication, build positive workplace cultures, improve staff retention, and support high-quality care.
Dementia Education Trainings
Developed in partnership with the National Council of Dementia Minds, MALA’s Dementia Education Training combines current, evidence-informed education with the voices and expertise of individuals living with dementia. Grounded in relationship-centered approaches, these courses help care partners build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide meaningful support while promoting dignity, connection, and quality of life.
