Description: This presentation will explore the lived experience of dementia and its impact on bathing. Clinicians and presenters will explore the cognitive, social/emotional, hygienic, and mobility factors involved in bathing. The goal of this presentation is to deepen the understanding of the lived experience, reduce barriers, and decrease negative experiences related to bathing in the assisted living environment.
