Shanta’ Favors, a proud native of Taylor, Michigan, is a wife, mother, and unwavering disability advocate whose voice and vision continue to inspire communities across the nation. Crowned Ms. Wheelchair Michigan 2024, she went on to earn First Runner-Up and People’s Choice at Ms. Wheelchair America 2025, a testament to her authenticity, strength, and deep commitment to empowering others.
Shanta’ serves as the State Coordinator for Ms. Wheelchair Michigan, where she uplifts women with disabilities and helps amplify their stories. She is also a dedicated leader within the United Spinal Association of Michigan, serving on the board as both Advocacy Coordinator and Peer Mentor, roles that allow her to guide, support, and champion inclusive change.
