This course is designed to help home for the aged employees meet minimum standards related to medical training. The course provides an overview of licensing requirements related to medication administration as well as the proper handling of medications during medication administration. It incorporates the six rights of medication passing; proper hand washing; how to properly measure liquids; how to properly apply transdermal patches; and how to properly handle and administer insulin, nasal sprays, inhalers, and nebulizers.
