This course is designed to help adult foster care employees meet training requirements related to resident rights. The course provides an introduction to resident rights found in the Michigan AFC Licensing Rules. Additional course content will reference the AFC licensing technical assistance manual. It is also important to note that this course will review the resident rights under the Adult Foster Care Facility Licensing Act (Public Act 218). It does not include information about rights and protections under the Mental Health Code and Social Welfare Act.
