The course provides an overview of important licensing rules related to personal care, protection and supervision for family homes as well as small and large group homes. Additional course content will reference licensing technical assistance manuals, emergency preparedness best practices as developed by the AFC Licensing Advisory Council, information on hyper and hypothermia as well as the AFC Facility Licensing Act, Public Act 218 of 1979.
